Trail description

A 12.2 km climb of about 1,730 m from Kandersteg past the Oeschinensee and the Oberbärgli alp to the Blüemlisalphütte at 2,840 m on the Hohtürli pass, below the glaciers of the Blüemlisalp. It is a long and steep day; most walkers take the gondola to the Oeschinensee or stay the night at the hut, which is staffed in summer.
