Trail description
A 4.3 km walk along the Bisse de Clavau above Sion, almost level with about 60 m of climbing, through the vineyards on the north side of the Rhone valley. The irrigation channel, about 8 km long, takes its water from the Lienne near Saint-Leonard and runs to the Sionne at Sion. It was built around 1453 by the bishop of Sion to water the Clavau vineyards and is still in use.
