Trail description

The Balfrin Höhenweg, a 17.2 km high trail from the Hannigalp above Grächen along the west side of the Saastal to Saas-Fee, with about 1,060 m of climbing. Parts are rated T3 (demanding mountain hiking); the trail is only open in summer and can be closed after rockfall, so check local notices before you go.
