Trail description

A short, steep climb from Palfries to the 2,343 m Alvier: 3.2 km and about 660 m up to the summit hut, with wide views over the Rhine valley. The upper third is a T3 mountain path with some sections of fixed handrail cable and metal steps. Sure footing is needed, and the path is best left alone in wet or icy conditions.
