Namunukula Trail from Memale

Trail description

The Spring Valley approach to Namunukula ('nine peaks'), whose main summit reaches 2,036 m near Badulla: from the end of Memale Road the Namunukula Trail climbs about 2 km to the top. Memale is reached by bus from Badulla on the B97 road, and the final hike from the trailhead is described as fairly easy, under an hour. The flat summit is used for camping, but the weather can change quickly.
