Trail description

From Palau-saverdera a mountain path climbs the Serra de Verdera to the ruined Castell de Sant Salvador de Verdera on its 682 m summit, high above the Empordà plain. About 6 km out and back with some 550 m of climbing. The slope has almost no shade, so start early in summer.
