Pena Trevinca desde Ponte

Trail description

The PR-G 199 Ruta Pena Trevinca polo Sestil Alto leaves the hamlet of Ponte (A Veiga) on tracks and paths up the glacial valleys of the Trevinca massif, then continues to the summit of Pena Trevinca (2127 m) on the Ourense and Zamora border, the highest point of Galicia. The signed route is 18 km return, or 21.6 km and about 7 hours return including the summit, and is rated difficult.
