Trail description

From Gósol the PR-C 123 path crosses the meadows below the Pedraforca and climbs the long southern scree slope to the Pollegó Superior (2,506 m), the higher of the two prongs of the forked mountain. The upper slope is steep, loose and partly rocky, so it is a demanding climb that is best avoided in wet weather. The more direct route from the Lluís Estasen refuge through the Enforcadura gap is a scramble.
