Trail description

From Piornedo, the palloza village of the Ancares in Cervantes, tracks and paths climb the valley to the Golada de Porto col, from where a short, steep but not very difficult slope on the north-west side leads to the summit of the Mustallar (1935 m), the highest point of the province of Lugo, on the border with León. The north face drops more than 400 m in rocky walls; at the top there is a small sign and a summit mailbox.
