Pico Almanzor invernal

 

Trail description

A 7.3 km walk with about 395 m of climbing between the Laguna Grande de Gredos and La Plataforma, over the Barrerones ridge. The lake, at about 1,940 m in Navalperal de Tormes, fills a basin scoured by Würm glaciers in the Circo de Gredos. Almanzor, the highest peak of the Sistema Central, rises above the cirque.
