Hayedo de Tejera Negra

Trail description

A 6 km loop with about 220 m of climbing on the Senda de Carretas through the Hayedo de Tejera Negra natural park in Cantalojas. It is one of the southernmost beech forests of Europe, in the Sierra de Ayllón at the eastern end of the Sistema Central. With La Pedrosa and Montejo it shows the humid forest of the region.
