Chorritero de Ovejuela

Trail description

Family walk from the square of Ovejuela (Pinofranqueado, Las Hurdes) past the natural pool and up the river on a restored path with four wooden footbridges and a rest area with a viewpoint over the river meanders, to the foot of the Chorritero waterfall, the best-known walk in the municipality. Pinofranqueado town hall gives 3.8 km return, about 50 minutes and 158 m of ascent; it is best after rain, from November to May.
