Cava Gran d'Agres

Trail description

Part of the Serra de Mariola park's green route: from the Convent d'Agres recreation area a steep path climbs the Barranc de l'Assut to the Refugi del Montcabrer, built in 1975 on the ruins of the old snow-collectors' house, and a forest track leads to the Cava Gran, a 17th-18th century snow well 11 m deep with six stone arches. The park's full circuit is 7.5 km and about 2 h 45 min.
