Trail description

A ridge walk from the Portillo de Lunada pass along the marked Senda Lunada al Castro Valnera to the 1,718 m Castro Valnera, the highest summit of the Montes de Pas between Cantabria and Burgos. About 9.3 km out and back with some 710 m of climbing over several tops. Mist comes in quickly here, and the karst slopes have few landmarks.
