Trail description

The classic traverse of La Palma's giant erosion caldera, descending from the Los Brecitos viewpoint through Canary pine forest to the Playa de Taburiente at the heart of the national park, then down the stream bed of the Barranco de las Angustias past Dos Aguas to the Lomo de los Caballos car park. Most walkers take a taxi from Los Llanos to Los Brecitos in the morning; the barranco must not be entered after heavy rain.
