Cabo de Gata: Genoveses y Mónsul desde San José

Trail description

A 5.5 km coastal walk with little climbing from San José along the dirt tracks of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park to the beaches of Los Genoveses and Mónsul. The volcanic coast has dunes, fossil reefs and the famous rock wave of Mónsul. There is no shade; in summer the road to the beaches is closed to cars and buses run from San José.
