Cabezo de Castildetierra

Trail description

A short loop in the Bardena Blanca of the Bardenas Reales of Navarra around the lone clay pinnacle of Castildetierra. From the car park beside the pinnacle the path drops into the Barranco de las Cortinas, follows the foot of the eroded slopes past Castildetierra and returns on the gravel park road. The badland of gullies and flat-topped cabezos looks more like the American west than Spain.
