Trail description
The PR-PNPE 27 circuit starts and ends in Brez, a village on a sunny terrace above Liébana at 730 m, and follows the old approach track to the mines of the Canal de las Arredondas towards the vertical walls of the eastern massif of the Picos de Europa, through Pyrenean oak and cork oak woods and hay meadows. The park gives 5.4 km, 270 m of ascent and about 2 h, rated easy, signed anticlockwise.
