Arou a Camariñas (Camiño dos Faros)

Trail description

Stage 5 of O Camiño dos Faros follows the wild Costa da Morte from Arou past the Lobeiras beach and the small port of Santa Mariña, over the Monte Branco dune to the coves of Trece and the English Cemetery at Punta Boi, where the victims of the Serpent shipwreck lie, then on a comfortable path past the Reira beaches to the Cabo Vilán lighthouse and round the Arco do Vilán to Camariñas. The route gives 23.7 km and about 9 hours with stops; some sections are rated medium for difficulty and danger.
