Trail description

A 7.6 km circuit of about 3 hours from the El Portillo visitor centre in Teide National Park. It climbs around the Montaña del Cerrillar among retama on pumice, with views over the park, the Llano de Maja and the sea of clouds over the Orotava valley, then descends along the caldera wall past volcanoes. No authorisation needed.
