Acantilados de Maro

Trail description

A 5.6 km coastal walk with about 180 m of climbing along the Acantilados de Maro, from near Cala del Pino past the Playa de las Alberquillas and the Río de la Miel to the Torre de Maro above Nerja. The protected cliffs between Nerja and Almuñécar drop up to 250 m to a string of coves. They are foothills of the Sierra de Tejeda and Almijara, a natural area and a Mediterranean specially protected site.
