Trail description
A short 0.4 km path with about 50 m of climbing from the Mac-Mac Falls viewpoint along the Fanie Botha hiking trail. The 65 m falls are on the Mac-Mac River in the Mac-Mac Forest Nature Reserve. The water once fell in a single stream, but gold miners blasted it with dynamite to expose the reef, and it now falls in two; the falls and the forest in the kloof below became a provincial heritage site in 1983.
