Kaapsehoop Trail

Trail description

A 3.5 km loop of about 120 m of climbing around Kaapsehoop, the village at about 1,640 m on the Drakensberg escarpment 28 km from Mbombela. The village takes its name from the gold finds that gave hope to the people of the De Kaap valley below. It is now a small mountain-top village of craft shops and restaurants.
