Trail description
A 6.4 km climb of about 650 m from Silvermine, past the Silvermine reservoir and near the Elephant's Eye cave, to the top of Constantiaberg by the weather radar. Constantiaberg is a large whale-backed mountain of Table Mountain sandstone, 927 m high, about 7 km south of Table Mountain on the far side of Constantia Nek. With Devil's Peak and Table Mountain it is one of the highest points of the range that runs to Cape Point; the Silvermine reservoir was built in 1898 to supply Cape Town with water.
