Algeria Waterfall

Trail description

A steep 2.8 km climb of about 350 m from the Algeria camp in the Cederberg, across the Helsekloof stream and up the Middelberg path to about 860 m. This is the route toward the Middelberg waterfall, one of the shorter walks of the Cederberg, fairly steep and signed from the campsite; a fork near the top leads on to the Middelberg hut used by overnight hikers. A CapeNature permit is needed, paid at the reception at Algeria.
