Vtáčnik z Kamenca pod Vtáčnikom

Trail description

From Kamenec pod Vtáčnikom the path follows the Gepňárova valley and climbs over Siahy to Vtáčnik (1,346 m), the highest summit of the Vtáčnik range. It is 9.6 km and about 1,050 m of climbing one way. A short stretch near the top has a fixed rope. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise in the forest and keep food packed away.
