Trail description

A lakeshore walk on the Orava reservoir from Námestovo with views to the Slanický ostrov island. The paved lakeside promenade follows the water beneath the Orava hills to Slanická Osada, opposite the island and its art gallery, which is reached by boat. An easy, level outing of about 3.2 km one way by the largest lake in northern Slovakia.
