A short easy walk from the Štrbské Pleso railway station to the smaller tarn of Nové Štrbské pleso. Resort lanes and footpaths lead to the quiet lake and round its shore with views of the surrounding peaks, about 1.8 km in all. It is a restful stroll suitable for all ages.
