Katarínka

Trail description

A forest walk to the ruins of Katarinka, the church and Franciscan monastery of St Catherine hidden in the woods of the Male Karpaty. The path follows a shaded forest road along the Dubovsky potok to the roofless church slowly being restored by volunteers, then continues on the Katarinka nature trail past a forest railway memorial. It is a peaceful and atmospheric outing.
