Trail description

A 4 km climb of about 880 m from Trangoška on the south side of the Low Tatras, past Srdiečko and the Kosodrevina junction on the Magistrála, to Chopok (2,024 m) on the main ridge. The upper half crosses open slopes beside the ski area with wide views south. Lifts from Srdiečko and Krupová run up via Kosodrevina to the summit if you want to save the descent. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise in the forest and keep food packed away.
