Chleb zo Šútova

Trail description

From Šútovo in the Váh valley the path climbs through the forest past Zajacová and Ploštiny to Chata pod Chlebom and on to Chleb (1,646 m) on the main ridge of the Malá Fatra. It is 6.7 km and about 1,160 m of climbing one way. The gondola from Vrátna to Snilovské sedlo, 1 km away along the ridge, is an option for the way down. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise in the forest and keep food packed away.
