Trail description
A forest climb to Veliki Strbac, the summit that towers over the narrowest point of the Iron Gate gorge on the Danube. From the Ploce viewpoint above Mali kazan the path rises through old beech woods to the 768 m top, where the view plunges to the great river squeezed between Serbia and Romania. About 4.8 km one way with some 440 m of climbing in Djerdap National Park.
