Trail description
A two-day out-and-back climb from Șimon near Bran up the long Valea Gaura, past the Moara Dracului waterfall, to Vârful Omu (2,505 m), the highest point of the Bucegi, with the night at Cabana Omu on the summit. The upper valley is steep and stony, and at this height storms build quickly on summer afternoons.
