Trail description
The shortest climb to Vârful Moldoveanu (2,544 m), the highest summit of Romania, from the Stâna lui Burnei parking at the end of the Valea Rea forest road on the south side of the Făgăraș. The path climbs the glacial Valea Rea to the main ridge and follows it to the top. A long, steep day; the forest road is rough.
