Cheile Vălișoarei

Trail description

A marked loop (red dot) over the right-hand slope of the Valisoara gorge, also called the Aiud gorge, in the Trascau mountains near Aiud. From the road in the defile the path climbs past a cave onto the slopes above the 100 m limestone walls, popular with climbers, and returns to the gorge beside the Aiud stream. Watch for wallcreepers on the cliffs.
