Babele și Sfinxul

Trail description

A Bucegi plateau walk that climbs past the Cimitirul Elefantilor rocks and the Piciorul Babelor cave to Cabana Babele and the two most famous rock formations in Romania, the mushroom-shaped Babele and the enigmatic Sphinx. Wind and frost carved both from the plateau conglomerate over millennia. From there the route heads along the plateau track toward Cabana Piatra Arsa.
