Pico das Pedras to Queimadas

Trail description

A 3.7 km walk from the Pico das Pedras forest park to the Queimadas forest park above Santana, along the Levada do Caldeirão Verde. Between the two parks the levada runs through laurel forest, and beyond Queimadas it continues as the PR 9 to the Caldeirão Verde waterfall. At Queimadas a thatched Santana house holds the House of Madeiran Traditions.
