Trail description

A loop through the enchanted forest of Bussaco, a walled arboretum planted by monks with cedars, sequoias and tree ferns from around the world. Shaded paths enter by the Porta da Rainha and wind past the Fonte Fria, the Vale dos Fetos and the Grande Lago to the old convent and the great palace hotel. Cool, green and steeped in history.
