Trail description

A long climb of about 1,170 m from the mountain village of Loriga up its glacial valley to the Lagoa Comprida reservoir at about 1,600 m on the plateau of the Serra da Estrela. The upper part crosses open granite ground with little shade or shelter, where the weather can change quickly.
