Levada do Rei PR18

Trail description

A 5 km walk along the Levada do Rei (PR 18) from the Quebradas water treatment plant above São Jorge to the levada's source at Ribeiro Bonito. The path crosses farmland and tunnels of vegetation into the laurel forest, ending in the sheltered valley of Ribeiro Bonito. The levada also drives the São Jorge water mill, the only one of its kind still working.
