Leça da Palmeira Lighthouse Walk

Trail description

A flat 2 km coastal walk north of Porto along the rocky Leca da Palmeira shore, from the Piscinas de Mares tidal pools past the modernist Casa de Cha da Boa Nova to the Farol de Leca. The 46 m lighthouse, also called Farol da Boa Nova, was inaugurated in 1927 and has a small museum of lighthouse equipment. Easy and breezy, fine for a seaside stroll.
