Trail description

A 2.2 km walk of about 140 m of climbing from Benfeita in the Serra do Acor to the Fraga da Pena waterfall, partly on the road. Benfeita is one of the 27 villages of the Schist Villages network, and its name, recorded as Bienfecta in 1196, means well made. The Fraga da Pena waterfall and the Mata da Margaraca forest are among the landmarks of the Serra do Acor.
