Fóia Monchique

Trail description

A 4.7 km climb of about 310 m from Monchique past the Desterro convent to the summit of Fóia, 902 m, the highest point of the Algarve. A paved road also reaches the top, which carries telecommunication masts and an Air Force radar station. On clear days the Atlantic is in view.
