Stage 8 of the Rota Vicentina Fishermen's Trail, 19.4 km and about 5 hours from Arrifana to Carrapateira along cliffs up to 100 m high that show folded schist and greywacke strata. The route links small fishing harbours tucked into the sheltered parts of the coast.
