Cântaro Magro

Trail description

A 1.6 km climb of about 250 m from the Covao d'Ametade up the head of the Zezere valley to the foot of the Cantaro Magro, on the Rota do Macico Central path. The Cantaro Magro, 1,928 m, stands out from the Torre plateau at the head of the glacial valley, with a sheer wall of about 500 m above the Covao d'Ametade. The route stays below the rock and does not climb it.
