Mount Pulag Akiki Trail

Trail description

The hard route up Mount Pulag, at 2,926 m the highest peak of Luzon, from the Akiki jump-off near Kabayan, nicknamed the Killer Trail for its relentless climb through pine forest past Eddet campsite, then mossy forest to the Marlboro campsite and the grassland summit. Most groups camp at Marlboro and reach the top for the sea of clouds at sunrise. Registration and the orientation at the DENR ranger station and a local guide are required.
