Lake Danum Sagada

Trail description

A 2.1 km walk with about 80 m of climbing from a farm track east of the lake up to the Sagada-Besao road and along it to Lake Danum, on the western edge of Sagada near Besao. Danum is a small lake at about 1,700 m surrounded by pine trees, and its name is a Kankana-ey word for water. It is a favourite place to watch the sunset over the mountains of Ampacao, with a campsite about a hundred metres from the best viewpoint.
