Valle de Ishinca: Campamento Base desde Collón

Trail description

From the village of Collón above Huaraz the trail climbs the green Ishinca valley in Huascarán National Park, through quenual woodland, to the Ishinca base camp at about 4,385 m below Ishinca, Tocllaraju and Urus. It is usually walked over two days with donkeys; the park entry ticket is needed, and Laguna Ishinca above the camp is reached only by climbers' routes.
