Trail description
A 3.3 km climb of about 200 m from Chorrillos onto the Morro Solar, the 251 m headland at the south end of Lima's bay, passing near the Cristo del Pacifico. The 37 m statue was erected in 2011, and the hill was a battlefield of the Battle of San Juan and Chorrillos on 13 January 1881 in the War of the Pacific. The José Castro Mendivil planetarium is also on the hill.
