Trail description
A 2 km climb of about 200 m from Huaraz to the Mirador de Rataquenua, a natural viewpoint at 3,314 m on the south-east side of the city. It looks over Huaraz to the snow peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, including Huandoy, Huascaran, Chopicalqui and Huantsan. The viewpoint can also be reached by car on a dirt road, or on foot from the Huaraz cemetery.
